How do I care for the outside of my Product
When Cleaning the outer surface of your Westinghouse appliance please ensure that it has not been used for the necessary length of time to ensure that any parts that may become hot during operation have had time to cool. Then use a non-abrasive cleaning cloth to remove stubborn particles from the items body.
A damp cloth, used with a mild dishwashing detergent, may be necessary to remove grease/grime build up. Apply the detergent to the damp cloth and not directly onto the appliance.
The use of abrasive cleaning clothes may damage the surface and will not be covered by warranty.
How do I care for my Instant Hot Water Dispenser
The Mineral deposits in tap water solidify when they are boiled/heated. Lime Scale may be come white, any Phosphates present will cause the water to appear cloudy when heated and may cause the interior of the water gauge to discolour. Depending on the hardness of your water will determine how much of these deposits are present. It is important to descale your Instant Hot Water Dispenser regularly to maintain the life of your Dispenser and keep it running efficiently.
The Water Storage unit of your Dispenser should be emptied and dried out on a regular basis to prevent build up of minerals and to keep the contents of the storage unit fresh.
If your Instant Hot Water Dispenser is not going to be used for an extended period of time please empty both the contents of the storage unit as well as expel any remaining water from the inside of the unit by setting it to free flow and pump the remaining water into a cup.
Please note that failure to descale your Dispenser regularly is deemed negligent and any faults caused by mineral build up will not be covered under warranty.

My Instant Hot Water Dispenser has an Error Code what does it mean?
The Westinghouse Instant Hot Water Dispensers come with several safety features to ensure that they remain safe to use and to extend the life of the appliance.
Each unit is fitted with an overheating and low water level safety cut out. Depending on your model this may be visible as an E7 error code or the LED ring around the power button is flashing.
If either error occurs please switch off the appliance and your power point and disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Ensure the Water Storage vessel is filled to below the MAX level line. Plug the appliance back into your wall socket and switch on the appliance. This should have your Instant Hot Water Dispenser operational again. If not please use the Reset Key that came with your Dispenser, or a similar object to press the reset button that can be found on the front of the appliance near where the side of your cup sits against the dispenser.
If your appliance shows either a E0 or E4 or E5 error for those models with LED display please contact our customer care team either via email or via phone through our contact us page.
